We needed a very basic flower bed job done and mulch to be applied to all trees on property as well as mulching to large areas in the back yard around the A/C pad and septic tank. We then ask for trimming of 2 small trees. The whole job should have taken about a day.
Stephen was quick to respond to the request and offer up his proposal. We accepted his price with no negotiations. It seemed fair to us. This was the only acceptable part to the process.
Stephen was full of excuses after that and his word is worth absolutely nothing. It took him a week to finish about 3/4 of what he said he would do. A 2 hour day was a "long" day for him and always told us he was coming back.
After a week we basically paid him to LEAVE. Of course told us that he would return the very next day to finish the mulch and trimming of 2 trees. It's been another week since then and he's a no show, no call, no excuse, take the cash and run.
Beware of any business dealings you try with this vendor! Plenty of other landscapers out there that are willing to do the job with much less headaches.
