- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I give a 10% discount to Veterans, Law Enforcement, and First Responders. My work is guaranteed for a year. If I forget to calculate a cost in the contract, I assume responsibility for the cost. Any changes to the contract after signing require a signed Change Order and is a minimum charge of $75 plus labor and materials. If I can’t do the project I will not waist the clients time. I will not take on a project I can’t handle.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Meet with them at the site. Cover all aspects of the project. Recommend solutions and ways to control costs. Produce a comprehensive bid with in 24-96 hours depending on the complexity of the project. Make changes to the bid based on the desires of the client. Ensure that throughout the process the client has input and gets what the want. I make sure the client is completely satisfied from beginning to the end of the project. I guarantee my work for one year no matter how small or large the project is.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have done years of hands on work of nearly every trade required to build a home with the exception of septic systems. I have done projects from painting a wall to supervising the building of a fully contained military bases in combat zones. I have studied design, architecture, and engineering in Europe for 15 years. Not just through books, but by living in Europe for 15 years and traveling to see and study most of the great architecture from most of the countries in Western Europe.
