I highly recommend Monique for her CAN-DO attitude! She is very creative and organized at the same time. She helped me do a house refresh in just 5 weeks!May 13, 2018Verified
The value of home staging cannot be overemphasized enough and Monique is truly who anyone needs when selling a home. Several consultations, the scope of the project changing, an unexpected flood were all no obstacle. The staging Monique did was fairly priced and she even made an accommodation when there was an unexpected flood that delayed the project further. Her staging ideas led to virtually every house-hunter praising everything about the house even if it wasn't to their own specific taste. I highly recommend Monique and welcomed her to show the results of my home staging with any prospective seller.Nov 22, 2017Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? After we work out what your design need is, I give you a proposal of what is suggested. For a first visit I charge $100 to see the space and give you my suggestions but this is APPLIED to the project if I am hired. For the full project I require a 1/3 up front,1/3 when job approved & 1/3 when the job is complete. I have never had an unhappy client as I will make whatever changes are needed to complete the job. If I am shopping for you for the purchases to be done by you than I will give you the items #s so you can purchase the furnishings & work out the deliveries for your schedule. My portion is making it all come together as a "WOW end result", so that portion with my time to shop and plan for you is what would be billed for as an agreed fee between us once I know the size and needs of the project. I am very affordable and put my heart into each project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We hear their story and go over a general questionnaire of what the client's space and needs are. We either see pics to start but a physical on site meeting is scheduled to see the space in person. We propose solutions to the client for approval first & then proceed with the project showing various stages of progress as needed. Our goal is for our clients to be really excited with the end results.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? With over 20 years of design experience in NYC, I know what it takes to make a space truly beautiful! I have made millions of dollars for companies as a work for hire for my designs as well as designing showrooms showing clients products in creative ways to get buyer's to write orders from major USA stores from the home to fashion industry. It's all about who has the most "wow" for the price and I can do the same for your space big or small. FYI: As a graduate of Syracuse University with design honors I won the "Best Workmanship Award" 2 years in a row winning over senior classmen. I share this because that same craftsmanship is what I apply to each job.
