FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I prefer to go through a needs assessment with a new client to get a grasp of what they're looking for. I usually like to get some examples of other works the client likes and then I can break that design/style down and work from that base. I like to stay in close contact through the entire process so the client knows exactly where we stand and there's no confusion.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Bachelors Degree in Computer Graphics Technology from Purdue University and have worked in the field of Web Design and Development for nearly 10 years. I've built over a hundred websites and manage around 90 or so websites as the head of web operations at my current job.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been primarily right brained and enjoyed expressing ideas artistically. That combined with the ever looming question of "what do you want to do for a living" led me to the field of Graphic Design. While enrolled in college, trying to complete my studies as a Graphic Designer I stumbled across the field of Web Design and took a liking to it. I enjoyed designing interfaces that people would interact with. And that led me to the field of Web Development. So this seemingly long and meandering journey actually provided me a great deal of knowledge in the field of Design and Web Development.
