We perform in-home assessments for a fee that can be credited to your account when we hired to implement the solutions.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We are client-centric and take the time to listen to our clients explain their situations. From this information we can build a unique assessment report that identifies unique solutions that fit the specific needs of our client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am licensed in the state of Florida as both a Professional Engineer and a General Contractor. I also have a certificate in Project Management and the following certificates that pertain to home modifications: Certified Environmental Access Consultant (CEAC), Certified Aging in Place Specialist (CAPS), Executive Certificate in Home Modifications from the University of Southern California School of Gerontology (ECHM).
These qualifications make a superior package that can give you the solutions you are looking for and the experience to properly implement what you want while retaining the beauty of your home.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have a large amount of experience in the space industry working with new techologies that reduced risk to the workforce, flight hardware and the public. This experience is utilized as we develop solutions specific for you.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
When looking for a provider of independent living solutions look for a licensed contractor that has the CEAC and/or CAPS certifications at the minimum. this ensures they have the proper training in the techniques and products that are available to develop the best solutions to fit your needs.
What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Do you have experience working with the ADA compliance guidelines? Can you point out areas that need improvement to make my life safer in my home?
