K&S Pet Sitting
About this pro
Loving animals is a lifetime passion; you must be born a true lover of animals as we are. Over our 41 years marriage, we have had cats, dogs, birds, fish, and fostered-recovering shelter animals, raised five abandoned baby robins and one squirrel, cared for three generations of wild raccoons, and have had all wild birds. We have quite a bit of experience taking care of diabetic cats, both ours and clients. Taking care of dogs and cats is a labor of love. Being able to provide the love and attention that your pets need while you are away is extremely important to us as well as it is to them. It is a proven fact that animals miss us when we are not with them, and it brings us pleasure to be able to supply some of that same love that their family provides daily when we pet sit. This is why we feel one hour visits are a must. Fur babies need daily consistent love and play time.
Customers rated this pro highly for punctuality, work quality, and responsiveness.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our pricing is based upon number of animals, and duties related to the animals per visit. We do charge $5 extra for dispensing medications - both oral and injections.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? It is very important to me to get to know my customer and her furry baby-babies prior to the start of a job. I like to schedule an appointment about one week prior to the start of a job so that I not only meet them, but also find out the routines, feeding times and amount, any medications and how they are to be administered, and also to get all emergency contact information for both the client and the pet.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I did extensive work in research and also have had personal experience with diabetic animals, dosing with antibiotics, dosing with thyroid medications, care of an animal with a broken leg, care following surgeries, and fostering feral animals following surgeries and infections.
