Miguel Acosta is a brilliant architect and artist, but overall Miguel Acosta is a excellent teacher, I think he is a true master, because he taught me to observe to see beyond. I met to Miguel in "Dibujo de Ciudad" courses, there I learned to draw better, the proportion, the color, perspective, composition, I learned many techniques: watercolor, with nib and pencil, he taught me to draw without see, with the left hand, without raising my hand of the paper, but he could see something in me and he helped me to find and develop my abilities, since then we are good friends, then I had the opportunity participate in a course of architectonic design at the FAU-UCV with Miguel as teacher and the experience was amazing because we worked in three different scales: the city, the architecture and the object, in that moment I could prove the ability of Miguel to approach to those topics, and his capacity to teach, to educate better persons, Miguel Acosta is a true master.

Miguel Acosta is one of the most influential people that I've come across in my Architect career. When I met him in the Architecture Faculty in the UCV (Universidad Central de Venezuela) he was by then the most creative and remarkable teacher that any student could study with.
Under his guidance, many Architects have found a deep understanding of the principles of Architecture. Thanks to his remarkable drawings skills and plastic habilities, Miguel taught many of us the importance of observation and sensibility needed to shape a comprehensive view of the world.
His deep knowledge is no obstacle to make lessons fun and dynamic.
Miguel is a true Master in arts and a generous soul that loves teaching.
I can assure that he's been an milestone for many students of architecture and Art.

I attended to most of Miguel's City Drawing workshops for about 3 years. He's one of the best drawing artists i have ever met, and one of the people from whom I've learned the most about art in general. His style of teaching is focused on letting you find what you consider interesting about a particular theme or subject, and providing you with all the theoretical knowledge and practical abilities to help you excel on your own, all of this in a very fluid and encouraging way. His classes often start with a warm up exercise of drawing, focused on the recognition of free shapes, proportions and perspective, then he proposes a general exercise in which he lets the student approach the problem making the best of his current abilities and goes on rounds making suggestions and pointing opportunities to better develop the work. He's not stuck to a particular technique or method, since he knows lots of them, he's able to recognize when they fit better with a particular person or situation and uses this knowledge to make of every exercise an opportunity to learn something new. When it comes to art, this man is skilled and knowledgeable at almost every form of it , except when it comes to drawing and painting, where he's simply one of the best out there.

The Architect Miguel Acosta, During many of these years has demonstrated, very capable in all the levels in which he has been developed labor and professionally. I knows him personally as an excellent teacher who has worked for many years teaching at the Central University of Venezuela, Faculty of Architecture and Urbanism. Along with other activities, he teaches drawing courses throughout the world in association with the City Drawing Foundation, aimed at artists, students and professionals in architecture, urbanism, art, design, civil engineers, photographers, fashion, and Other works of life related to the art of drawing. This foundation, several years ago performing an excellent work, I had the opportunity to have participated in them.
On the other hand, the architect Miguel Acosta is an excellent plastic artist, outstanding Painter, sculptor who has participated in personal and collective personal exhibitions, with great success, demonstrating a lot of talent and professionalism, It is for all that I recommend extensively
