I’d like to begin by highlighting how flexible & accommodating Jean Paul was due to changing the moving time days before. The 2 guys that came we’re punctual. Al my items were wrapped by me, except for the boxspring, headboard & sofa. After a quick phone call they were given the go ahead to wrap without an additional charge. My move was in same zip code and both ground floor units. However, this move took a bit longer. Although, there was about 10-15min time waiting for agent to obtain the keys to the new place. The agent stated they didn’t seem to know what they were doing when getting the bed Into the bdrm. They appeared to struggle a bit with the furniture. The only thing I asked is that my bed and boxspring didn’t get dirty and the boxspring did. I just had someone come in to clean the boxspring for another $65. I found them pleasant and if the job is with smaller items, great. However, I wouldn’t hire them again based on this experience. But, I don’t regret the decision to go with Movingtopia. To top it off, we do not charge any fees like stair fees, elevator fees, stop fees, packing/unpacking fees, long-carry fees, or any hidden fees, so you won't have any surprises with us!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First off, we thank them for choosing us and welcome them to the way our company works. We inform them of our service and explain our simple pricing and what services are included. We don't charge a deposit to book the move, just a confirmation email. It's that simple.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We do in-house training for every new candidate at their start of their career until they are experts in the field. Then, we do a monthly evaluation of performance, followed by a updated training every 3 months.
