- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically I charge $175 for officiating a wedding unless there is significant prep work, multiple visits or premarital counseling involved. The gender of the people getting married is not an issue for me. Coaching starts at $75 per hour. Counseling starts at $60 per hour Unless distances become too great I will not charge extra for mileage.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We will start with a phone consult and then set up the appropriate meetings. For a wedding it may be possible to answer all the questions in that first phone call. For Relationship and Marriage Coaching after an intial phone call to establish time and method of coaching (in person, Skype, phone, etc.) a schedule will be established. I seek am easy going about the whole process and am flexible, allowing me to meet your particular needs.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have performed many weddings over the course of the last ten years. Most of these have also included the premarital counseling that is suggested for a good start to this next step in your relationship. I have studied counseling and have counseled a number of couples and individuals over time, learning from each of these experiences. Add to that my kind heart, over 26 year marriage, & a thesis on marriage and I can help whether on your special day or to improve the relationship.
