FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The customer will always have an idea as far as the job cost more or less or at least an idea because for the most part folks always like to compare prices , of course not meaning that the cheapest will be the best choice but emotionally nobody likes to pay a higher price for anything it’s just that when work is being done it’s a very complicated matter because that’s when quality like all in life makes the price change a whole lot.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I always make sure to listen very carefully what is their main concern and area they are interested the most in as far as when doing various projects or even one. Than break it into parts and explain how it is I would start and continue towards end when work is finalized than afterwards I obviously send the client a detailed proposal stating everything the job covers and all I include etc as well as the total amount for the job and break into detailed parts how payments shall be made.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Besides working as a chief Engineer and superintendent for many years overseeing and managing construction jobs and full remodels I attended a technical school called Robert Morgan where for a full year one would study the theory part of building construction and a portion of a house was built in the shop. Everything from structural , to wiring electrical , to framing , to drywall install , roofing , plumbing etc was learned and the professor would instruct us on how to do the work properly by code and teach us all there was to learn about in the field.
