Didn’t know about anything, actually asked me what others were bidding for the job so he could beat their price. I would not hire

We did not ask what others priced their bids. This is a lie. Omer did not initially respond to me when I contacted him about the project. Consequently our schedule became full. So when Omer finally responded to me I suggested that Omer go with another contractor. We could have taken Omer's job and kept him waiting, but we were more concerned with making sure Omer was serviced sooner - even if that means not getting the job. I am very disappointed Omer viewed my suggestion as anything other than doing the right thing.
