FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
By the hour or the project the structure of what I do is similar. Evaluate the scope of the project, visit the site and meet the client and present them with ideas and define the budget and goals. The initial visit and evaluation is a small fee that is then applied to the overall cost of the project, when approved.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I take my consulting role seriously and listen to my clients after asking them regarding their goals and what they wish to accomplish.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have worked for over a decade in commercial interiors, designing work spaces and later home offices, apartments and homes. Part of my training was learning library science and designing filing systems from small Dr's offices to the 9th Circuit Appellate Court in San Francisco. This training was invaluable for learning how to establish rules for functional designs. Yes, there are simple rules that when followed make the spaces in your home or office easy and fun to live in. There is a movement and a flow around furniture that's easy to live in and it's soothing to the eye. That's what I do.
