Joseph looks forward to workouts with Coach Matt! He felt stronger after each session and felt it improved his strength with swimming. It is good to work with a trainer that knows proper techniques with age appropriate strength training and exercises that support the muscles in your sport. Coach Matt is very professional and is very knowledgeable as a trainer. We highly recommend his services!

I am nearly 50. I started exercising as a kid with my mom using Jane Fonda’s book. I have worked out in gyms and studios (Pilates, yoga, aerobics, ballet) in NYC, Ohio, California and plenty of states in between. I have had trainers and “coaches,” instructors and yogis and experienced fitness buddies, too. I have had years of great fitness and years of sloth. Experienced pregnancy and post-pregnancy exercise and have suffered MANY injuries - and often when working with a “trained professional.” After decades of looking for the right person to help me achieve my fitness goals, I’d pretty much given up. Then I found Science Tested Athletic Consulting and started working with Matt Rogers. Matt’s education, years of professional experience and good humor are helping me get into the best shape I have ever been in - and he shows me, again and again, that I am not going to get hurt on his watch. He listens to my late mid-life aches and pains, watches how I execute the excercises and modifies, as needed. I like him and trust his expertise so much that I have allowed my 12 year-old son to workout with Matt, too. If you are serious about your fitness goals and are looking for a trainer who is skilled and a pleasant person to spend time with, you need to contact Matt.

Matt is a true professional. He took into account my current needs and goals and designed a program that is helping me achieve them. His knowledge of and passion for exercise science is highly apparent as I saw immediate results by following his program. As a former college basketball player, I still have the mindset of an athlete and go to the gym five days a week but I had hit a plateau. Matt assessed my current routines and designed a program to address weaker areas and ones I was unsure of how to develop, like my legs. When I suffered a minor knee injury he tweaked my program to help me continue to make progress while letting the injured area heal. He is supportive, attentive and available to answer questions and address concerns at all times. It is clear he is invested in my success, in my reaching my goals and then creating new ones. I highly recommend him to athletes of all ages and those who simply want to feel better about their healthy and fitness level.

Matt has helped my daughter tremendously. She had developed a slight curve in her spine a year ago and with his help it has gone down to almost nothing! Also her posture has improved. In addition, he has helped her with her strength in swimming which I believe has kept her injury free.
