Introduction: I am a project based event planner and can assist you in planning any aspect of your event without any long term commitments. My service is perfect for those looking for help with their event but don't need or want a full time planner. I work on projects as small as selecting party favors for a birthday party, to projects as big as planning a full blown gala. Had a wonderful experience planning an engagement party with Mrs. Whitaker. She was able to locate potential venues for me to visit in person, one of which I ultimately used. I appreciated her direction with invitation selection and had her manage the RSVPs. As a busy professional it was so nice to have her manage the over all look and feel of the party. I would also like to add she was very thorough and responded quickly with all communication. I would gladly work with her for future events.

INCREDIBLE SERVICE! Dara has now helped me plan 2 events (a store launch & media event) for my company and I cannot speak highly enough of the experience. Not only was she beyond organized but her creativity and understanding of how to keep an event exciting and fun for everyone is second to none. I was referred to Dara by a friend when I was beginning my search for an event designer/florist for my wedding next October. Dara helped me plan a bridal shower for a close friend. I do not have much party planning experience, and Dara was able to step in to guide me through the whole process : food, drinks, decorations and more! The shower ended up being a huge success with a Popsicle and Prosecco theme! I would recommend her services to anyone who wants an extra hand planning an awesome event.

Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Most recently I was asked to help a bride find a full service event decor vendor. She was looking for someone to provide floral, linens, table settings and overall room decor that matched her personal style. I was happy to assist her and was able to set up in-person appointments with 2 very qualified vendors. I am pleased to say that she moved forward with booking one of them!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
It is important to work with a planner who understands your personal style and listens to your needs, rather than someone who forces their ideas and opinions onto you.
