- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Victoria graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Interior Design from the University of Minnesota and studied Architecture and Design in Copenhagen. She has worked in the Minneapolis design community for the past decade, both for larger architectural firms as well as freelance. She lives in East Isles with her Danish husband and two wonderful kids.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Be honest and open about your budget. So often we hear "I'd like to spend as little as possible" and that is not the best way to approach a project. Our advice is to know what you can afford and then be prepared to spend that amount. Our job as designers is to keep the project on budget and help you get the absolute most for your money. If we are on the same page in the beginning, you'll be happier in the end.
