The work is great, but one month after paying in full, the subcontractor that Northern Rx hired contacted me saying he’s going to put a lien on my home. I paid in full but Northern Rx didn’t pay the subcontractor.Dec 23, 2018VerifiedNorthern Rx Construction's reply
Subcontractor wasn't licensed and didn't submit a certificate of insurance. Unable to pay him due to breaking contract terms. Our reputation shouldn't have been affected by him not following through to his legal requirements.
I had a great experience when I hired Northern RX Construction for our tiling of our basement shower. The attention to detail is their best attribute. They stayed late to make sure the job was completed on time and that I was happy with the results. I'll definitely recommend them to my friends and family. Tyler is awesome!May 1, 2017Verified
Tyler was AMAZING! We hired Tyler after having a bad experience with a prior contractor. Tyler came in, looked at the bathroom project we had, got back to us that night with a reasonable estimate. He was hired and started work immediately. Tyler informed us that our bathroom remodel would be done in approximately 2 weeks, he finished in less than that time! He informed us daily of what he would be accomplishing and even showed up on the weekend to work! The attention to detail was exquisite!!!! We are so happy with the finished product, I know that no one could have done a better job than Tyler. Tyler restored our faith in contractors, he was trustworthy and honest thru the whole process. We are excited to hire him again for a future bathroom remodel!Oct 6, 2017Verified
Tyler is a top professional and did an outstanding job laying our tile. His high quality stands out and above the pack. The team at Northern RX provided an over the top experience and they made doing business with them very easy. KevinOct 27, 2018Verified
The subcontractor that they had onsite to actually do the work was excellent. However, when they were paid they did not pay their subcontractor the money that was owed to them. For this reason be careful with this firm as they may put you in a situation where you have a lien filed on your property.Jul 25, 2018Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? There are a couple options for pricing. This will depend on three crucial components; the size of the job, whether materials are provided or need to be purchased by the contractor and the customer's preference of material grade.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Before I begin a new bigger project, I like to personally meet my new customers. Together, we will do a "walk through" of the area of interest and discuss the details of the project. Within 24 hours of this meeting, I will submit to you a proposal for approximate time, materials, and labor. If you choose to accept this proposal, we will schedule a convenient time to begin your project.
- What types of customers have you worked with?We have worked with various customers from the North, West, East, and South parts of Minnesota. All our customers get treated with the upmost respect and best of customer service.
