They were promp and professional and very reasonable. They were careful and considerate. I felt a great sense of relief to have all that junk removed so efficiently and my garage and yard looking so clean. I would highly recommend them.

Details: Miscellaneous trash • Enough to fill two pickup trucks • There are no flights of stairs

Rob did a great job clearing out all of my construction debris from a concrete stairs and path demo. He was super responsive from the very first contact to the last. He had the best price beating large junk removal companies. He was on time and went a step further sweeping out the area after the removal. There was a small miscommunication where he disposed of a trash can that I wanted to keep, right away he offered to replace it even without me having to ask. He was polite, curious, honest, and punctual. Not sure you could ask for anything more from a small business owner. I would highly recommend him for your project.

I wish there were more stars on the rating scale! Rob far exceeded my expectations - in his fairness, reliability, professional manner, and kindness. I would classify this job as "horrendous". Rob assessed the situation, gave a very reasonable estimate, and got the job done - alone. It was a monumental task. When he was finished, there was not a trace left of what he had tackled. He left the area spotless - and a huge weight off my shoulders. It's like a new lease on life! I will be an advocate for Ironman Junk Removal forever.

Ironman Junk Removal was so professional, polite, and respectful when working in and around my house. They took refrigerators, a couch, some piles of concrete, and other random stuff. They were so careful to not scuff up my walls, they took there boots off when walking in the house, and cleaned up thoroughly after themselves. Rob, the owner, took all scrapable metals to the scrap yard to cut down on dumping costs for me. SO GREAT!! The pricing was very fair, significantly lower than others estimates. I would definitely recommend and use Ironman junk removal again! Thanks guys!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Generating a fair price is the most important thing. I am transparent and honest in all facets of how I come to my estimate. I DO NOT inflate dumping costs, I do not milk the clock so I can charge more. My pricing system come down to solely time and dumping costs. That being said, the estimate I end with is just so I can pay my guys, and myself a balanced amount for the work done.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

When working with a new customer, I like to first get a idea of the scope of work that needs to be done. How much junk needs to be removed? What is it going to cost to properly dispose of it? I often request pictures, but ideally I like to see the job in person.

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

When I was fifteen my cousin and I were the only ones ambitious enough to clean out my grandmothers house. She had been hoarding junk for fourty years. We cashed in the scrap metal and disposed of the junk. This was the start of my junk removal passion so to say. We turned her garage into our shop, advertised, and eventually built our company up to service all over Bergen County in New Jersey. One truck become two, then a trailer, and then employees. Family has brought me to Minnesota. Although I left my business back in New Jersey, I brought my expertise and passion for junk removal with me!
