FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Projects are typically quoted up front with a complete description of what will be delivered. Projects are usually quoted to provide high-quality digital downloads of the final images. Printed or framed images are quoted separately.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
It is essential to establish expectations between my clients and myself. It is important for me to understand what the client desires from the photo shoot. What is the objective? What final products are required (digital images/prints/etc)? Also, it is important for the client to understand any requirements that I may need from the client such as dress requirements, props, etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My photographic knowledge has been honed from decades of photography, which started when I was 16 in a darkroom that I built in my parent's basement. I have a BS degree in electrical engineering and an MBA both from the University of Minnesota. I have been an entrepreneur since 1995, creating and managing several technology consulting businesses that provided (and still provide) IT and software development services to hundreds of clients nationwide. Over the past few years, I have transitioned from serious amateur to professional.
