I had a hard time building my first resume alone. Cristine helped me not just to do it, but also to understand what I was really looking for my career.

Resume Writing

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

The process is done in five simple steps.: 1) Questionnaire - Add your work history and any additional information or comments. It’s no problem if you don’t have an up-to-date resume or CV. Just download and save our Resume Questionnaire. Then fill it out as best as you can, save it again, and email it to us. You should be as thorough as possible on the questionnaire. The more thorough you are early on, the fewer drafts it will take to complete your document. That being said, long narrative histories don’t really help. We want specific duties and accomplishments. Don’t worry about this too much though. We will create your first draft using whatever you send us. Your resume writer will contact you to clarify details. 2) Interview - A 45-minute phone / Skype interview to help your writer determine your goals and get clarity around the questionnaire. 3) Draft - Receive your first draft in as soon as 2 business days only. We will exchange drafts many times before a resume, Linkedin Profile or Cover Letter is completed. Know that you will be an active participant in the creation of your resume or CV document. This is important because only you know your history and can give us the details we need to create an effective document. Your direct participation will not only result in a better final draft, but the process of developing your resume, analyzing your work history, and thinking about your accomplishments will make you stronger in interviews. It’s also very important you participate so that the information in your resume is not only dead-on accurate, but that the writing style is comfortable and natural for you. 4) Update - You have 7 days after receiving the first draft to request any changes to it. During that time you are covered by 100% money back guarantee. 5) Your stunning new resume, Cover Letter or LinkedIn profile, etc is ready and delivered to you via email in 2 files: DOC and PDF.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I am a professional with over 20 years of experience, 15 of which are in the Human Resources field. I have worked my way up the ladder, becoming director and manager in HR offices at various locations. Through these years, I have been able to develop both my hard and soft skills while improving corporations. These corporate improvements have allowed for growth without sacrificing the needs of the employees, too. I have made it possible for businesses and employees to unlock their full potential. 20 years have passed since the first time I had a resume on my hands ... New technologies emerged and from paper we developed the screening process to digital files. Access to rich database containing all kinds of candidates resulted that HR needs to screen thousands of information to reach the right candidate ...very often this process is dragged on for months, bringing misery to both sides ... to the company, that does not fill the vacant position and to the candidate who doesn't understand why it has not been called. I aim to help my customer (you) to define what it has to offer, compare with what the company needs and teach how to make this information clear and accessible to everyone involved in the recruiting process. I can not only will help you put together your CV in the right way, but by working together doing so will result in you becoming your "best seller", to figure out where you really are good at, and what benefits the company will hire have in hiring you. The first step is to find out if you are ready for a new challenge...after that, we will evaluate what you have, and then find out what the company wants...with this information we can assess if and how what you have to offer makes a difference to this company, finally we will put this information on paper and prepare the arguments to the interview. • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Make sure your provider will write a profile that really represents you...as much as getting a job is important, keeping it is more important. If you get the wrong position for you, no one benefits...your provider should be able to give you inputs on if and how your skills matter to the labor market, and even help you identify possible gaps that prevent you from getting your dream job.
