- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I offer discounts if you refer me to someone and they end up booking with me. I offer payment plans to help those who need help making a payment. I have travel fees that are added at the final invoice. These travel fees help to cover the cost of my gas etc. to get to your session and back home.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
When working with a new customer, they would either contact me by phone, email, or my contact page on my website at zinnphotography.wordpress.com. We would talk about their budget, their theme/style for what they are wanting to do for their session. When we have a general idea for a plan and they tell me the date for the session I let them know the booking process is a 3 step process. Questionnaire, contract, and invoice. When they have sent me back the contract I will then send them an online invoice or Paypal invoice to pay their non-refundable retainer which is 50% of the cost. Once paid and everything has been filled out, then the booking process has been completed.
