FAQs
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to sit down and have a consultation with a customer. I want to understand more of who they are as people. I will ask questions in regards to their styles and tastes. I will then apply these to the type of photography they are looking for. Whether it be traditional, candid, artist or a mixture of any other variations.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Honestly, practice. I don’t think every single thing can be learned in a classroom. Sometimes you have to go out there and make it happen. Even if means failing over and over again before you are successful.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I sat down one day and said to myself, “what is the one thing I can do for the rest of my life?” The answer came to me clearly and quickly. Take photos. There’s something so special about taking a moment and capturing it. I did this for myself for a long time, afraid no one would want to see. I told myself I’d get no where with that kind of self doubt. I have taken a leap of faith and decided that I would not be true to myself if I did not try to make this apart of my world every single day.
