About this pro
These two are fabulous! Initially I hired them to make an entryway larger by cutting out a partial wall and installing a new light. They did such a fantastic job that I hired them to complete my renovation on the bathroom (including fixing other contractors mistakes). They are meticulous in their work, do not overestimate, and most importantly they want to make sure the client is happy with the end result. I also had to go out of town for a few days and felt extremely comforatable with them working in my house while I was away. I am so happy with my new entryway and beautiful bathroom. I cannot say enough good things about these two and I will definitely be hiring them for more projects.Feb 16, 2017Verified
We bought an older home 2 years ago and have hired out many home improvement projects, but not until now have we been so happy with the results! These 2 are awesome! They have been very courteous, every step of the way. They quoted us a great price for some interior painting, replacing our entry ceiling and changing out some light fixtures. Not only were they very flexible, but they were able to see our vision and help us create exactly what we wanted for our ceiling! Some contractors believe that things can only be done ONE WAY and that has been an obstacle for us until we found C&B! We have already hired them for another job! They are so down to earth and do quality work. They did the work as if it was there own house and we really appreciate them!! Go Cubs!Nov 20, 2016Verified

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? Our pricing system is looking at the job, measuring, and then figuring out how many hours it will take plus materials. We have an hourly rate we shoot for, so we plug it in to equation and come up with a price. With not much overhead our prices are very competitive.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? We will come to your house and look at your project, then we will give you a bid for the project. If the customer accepts, we draw up a little contract, set a time for the work to be done, and then complete the work to there satisfaction. We do ask for half down when the customer signs contract, that way we can purchase the materials needed and start the work on there project.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I went through a 4 year apprenticeship in the union, and continued to work as Carpenter until April of 2016. I was a foreman, and ran relatively big commercial jobs.
