Introduction: Contractors come and go and so do customers. We not only build with wood, mortar, etcetera, we build relationships with clients. We believe this is due to respecting the client and their property and just old fashioned manners. Most of our clients are repeat business. First and foremost I love meeting people and pleasing them with a job well done. Second it is very satisfying to put your heart into a project and stand back and admire the craftsmanship that went into it. When all is said and done I can say "I did that!"

Andrew did an outstanding job as my general contractor and covered all bases during my home renovations. He was always punctual, detail oriented, and went the 'extra mile' to complete project(s) the right way, the first time. I would highly recommend him to manage any construction job from footings to roofing and everything in between. Andrew is, by far, the most knowledgeable person I have ever come across in the residential construction industry. There is nothing he cannot tackle! Five stars!!

Mr. Norman has performed several repairs and upgrades to my home. His work and professionalism is outstanding. I have yet to have a problem or task he could not handle. Norman Constructuion was very professional, pleasant and polite. We signed a written contract for our second home renovation in Ellijay, GA in 2005. All work completed since that time has "held up" and I have never needed to have them return to "repair" any of their renovations. I always felt safe with the company and the subs that were used. We renovated our Kitchen, Two Full Bathrooms, one Half Bath and had tongue and groove walls added to the interior of 60% of the house. If I could keep Norman Construction on a retainer to make repairs, as neede, I would. I would use them again in a heart beat.

Repaired my electric garage door which had jumped off track. After reviewing the situation he was able to repair the the door without any problems. It only took a couple of hours.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Most projects have different variables that affect pricing. In order to give a fair price, projects would have to be visited and variables discussed. We like for our customers to be educated about their project, and have a clear understanding of the project. We do small handyman projects by the hour.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We typically like to contact the customer, visit the project site, and get to know the needs or desires for the project so we can give an honest final price that everyone can agree upon.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
In the middle nineties I started out as rough/finish carpenter, and as time progressed I honed my skills, learned every aspect of residential construction and evolved the service into a full scale remodeling/building company.
