Introduction: I find out exactly what you need and want and correctly assess your posture, strength and physical stability and control. I build a program that takes you from where you are currently to increasing improved physical strength, flexibility and focused control to meet your goals. My extensive background as a professional dancer, trapeze artist, acrobat and choreographer lead to me to Pilates when looking for effective conditioning, performance improvement and rehabilitation method. I have over 30 years of experience in training others. I've worked with complete novices, cirque performers, pro golfers, equestrians (jumpers and dressage) dancers, performers, runners, etc., from beginner and rehab level through athlete. Your program moves along at the your pace with clear gradient steps of training. The studio is intimate, safe and comfortable, the training is focused. I am passionate about helping my clients to understand and gain increasing control over the body. I love posture correction, rehab and taking someone to that next level, so he/she experiences his/her improvement -- "win" by "win."

Zonnie is an exceptionally knowledgeable and hands on instructor. I am so grateful to have been introduced to her two years ago. I had been set back by a spinal cord injury, thought I wouldn't be able to do Pilates anymore, and am amazed at what I am able to do now!

Training with Zonnie has been a life saver! She is intuitive as to the correct exercises to focus on for each session. And I always leave feeling better than when I arrive. My flexibility and strength continue to improve. I will be doing this for the rest of my life!

Zonnie is not just a Pilates instructor. She brings techniques from her wide variety of physical studies, from Dance to Ergoscue into play as she adjusts your body and coaxes it towards its potential. The best part is the degree of care she invests in our workout. Nothing is rote, everything is tuned to that day's needs. Often my body is just not in the mood to go to class and I'm tempted to not go, except for the fact that I always feel better after class. Always.
