About this pro
Micah was terrific and helped me with playlists and YouTube streaming video for my party. He's very technical and flexible and will work with you any way he can. My party turned out very well considering we had "Florence" bearing down on us.Sep 18, 2018Verified

I've actually hired him twice in person. Micah has been pretty reasonable with pricing and went out of his way to explain that he only charges for what he needs, such as the cost of new lighting or fog refills which is a really cool thing to do. A lot of other DJs I've talked to will charge around $500 or more for a 2 hour party and even though they have their own equipment, it's a waste. Micah has brought some really cool looking gear and was modest about it as well. That says a lot for me.May 11, 2018
He's one of the few DJs I've hired that have gone out of their way to play pop or rap songs that come out around 2 days before the party. He also knew which ones were being overdone for the time and came back to songs that were made a year ago when they were off of the radio. I think it's really cool how he sorta balances his music like that when playing.May 11, 2018
FREAQ has a very professionalistic way of looking at things and this is obviously apparent when working with him. He takes his job very seriously and values the importance of it. He's also a really chill dude who is pretty easy to work with.Jan 3, 2018

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I am adaptable with pricing. Although I price to set a standard for quality, I can work with a budget and discuss a 3 step payment plan for day long scenarios.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Crowd preference, song selection, equipment. I own a speaker cabinet with 4 10" subwoofers and have my own mixer and mic but if you have a prefered set up that you have purchased prior, we can talk through specifics so we can best handle general volume and your prefered energy and atmosphere.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work? There is very little in the way of formal education for DJs. I instead go and see others perform live and watch tutorials from professionals in my free time to see what new tips and tricks I can add to my arsenal.
