My husband and I worked closely with Alan Aptner of Savoir Fare to plan our wedding in September of 2016. He handled the catering, space, and logistics and made us feel like family. He made the planning stress-free and enjoyable! The food was out of this world and the event was flawless. Alan put so much thought into our wedding - he even made sure my husband and I got to eat by preparing a plate of appetizers for us for the first few minutes after the ceremony - accompanied by celebratory champagne! He packed up the leftover food so that we could continue to enjoy it and think of our wonderful day every time we had a bite. Alan has also catered other events for my family over the years, like my mom's graduation from her master's program, and my dad's 50th birthday party. His food is the stuff of family legends and fond memories. All I can say is - if you are planning a special event, consider Savoir Fare. Alan will make sure its unforgettable.

Alan was a pleasure to work with in planning a team building event for our company. He was very personable and open to our ideas! In our initial phone conversation, he gave me a history of the location where we would be holding the event, provided information on how the night would flow and let me know next steps. He was very responsive to any questions or concerns we had and took care in providing menu options that didn't contain any ingredients that would pose a concern for attendees with allergies. At the event, everyone enjoyed watching how the courses were prepared and the food was delicious! After the event, Alan followed up with us to make sure that everything was how we envisioned and asked for our feedback. Alan really cared that our group had a positive experience & it was a rewarding night for our company!

There are a lot of caterers and event planners out there, but Savoir Fare stands above them all! Alan and his staff are consummate professionals, and having observed (and enjoyed) their work several times I can say without reservation...this is who you want to plan and manage your event!

Alan has catered two events at two different venues for us and both were terrific. The food and service were both great.
