- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have been studying Hair and Makeup Artistry for the last ten years. I have been licensed as a Cosmetologist in the state of Washington for six years. I will continue to stay educated in my field by doing Hair coloring, Hair cutting, make-up lessons, wedding trials, prom, and many other events that keep me busy through the year!
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I worked as a Makeup Assistant while doing Hair styling for weddings. After watching a Master work her trade, I fell in love with it all. The application, the techniques, everything about it drew me in! My true expertise falls in the wedding category. I have been doing weddings year-round for the last five years. It definitely takes a special kind of person to work in the wedding industry. I realized this was my calling because I get to help someone transform into the best possible version of themselves. On the biggest day of their lives! How cool is that?!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
All types! Flower girls to retirement partys! Everyone in between.
