Introduction: We are a family of three humans and a dog who decided to turn our love of pups into the best career ever. Puppy boarding and training. We are passionate about giving your pup a loving home away from home while you work, run errands or go out of town. Puppy Boarding: All pups will receive constant supervision and companionship. Every day is filled with individual outdoor leash walks, one on one obedience training and toy games. Lots of fun, learning, exercise and hugs. Puppy Training: We believe in using kindness, praise and rewards to increase good behavior and decrease the bad. We work with biting, house soiling, leash pulling, jumping, eating furniture and others. Certificates: ° Arizona State University Dog Behavior: Problems and Solutions (2018), ° Dr. Ian Dunbar's Simple Solutions for Common Dog Behavior & Training Problems (2018) ° Certified Dog Trainer (in progress) Experience: Dog walker/socializer/adoption help volunteer at PAWS animal shelter.

I was flying to Canada to visit my daughter and I was really nervous about leaving my 5year old chihuahua at the vet. She is tiny and not use to cages or seclusion. I started googling and I found Patter Paws. It was short notice, I was promised that my baby would be well taken care of and spoiled. Which she was lol. She was so busy playing with the dogs and family that when I went to pick her up, she took a while to notice me. She was excited to see me but did not do her desperate cry sound she makes when I pick her up from the vet. I will be using Patter Paws from now on and I highly recommend them.

It's hard to plan trips because my husband and I don't trust your typical boarding places. We recently found patter paws and I must admit I was unsure about ever leaving my little Willie with anyone but not anymore this place was great!!

Jaimie has our pocket beagle right now & she is doing an awesome job of training our 4 month old baby girl. She sends pictures & texts constantly with info about our pup. She is an amazing woman! I could not have asked for a better sitter! She was amazing! Brooklyn was spoiled the entire time I was away. I received multiple pictures a day, including professional ones done in her studio. I had absolutely no worries while I was away. I will continue to use Patter Paws for all my future needs. I highly recommend Patter Paws!! Trust me, you will not be dissatisfied. The rates were great too!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A portion of my proceeds goes towards Old Dog Haven, Rutherford County Paws Wish List and allows me a chance to offer free puppy training to rescue dog families.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer phone consultations or individual lessons at Cason Trailhead Park. Many times, common puppy issues can be resolved at home after a 15 minute call explaining why the behavior is natural and how to modify it with praise, rewards, toys and games.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
