FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Typically I do a standard sized room of crown moulding (around 60 ft) for $299 for 4 inch crown moulding and $399 for 6 inch. That price could go down based on multiple rooms, cash payments, and other considerations. The price could be higher based on atypical rooms (ie vaulted or cathedral ceilings, obstructions such as large furniture in the way, intricacies, etc.).
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically I receive a call or text from a customer interested in getting crown moulding or other trim work and I either set up an appointment to do a free in home estimate or I give them a price over the phone if the customer has the specifications and/or can send me pictures of the areas they’re interested in having done. Usually I can schedule the job within 1 week or so from initial contact and most jobs takes 1-2 days (for crown moulding) and extremely large jobs can take up to 4-5 days generally.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I’ve had special training to install the specific type of crown moulding I use as well as training installing wood mouldings. I’ve now installed over moulding in over 1200 homes and have over 10,000 hours of experience.
