Introduction: In my counseling, I take a systemic approach to working with individuals, couples, and families. Systemic therapy addresses people not only on the individual level, but also as people in relationships and dealing with those interactions and dynamics.
After serving in the US Army, I completed my undergraduate studies in Psychology at Wheaton College and earned my Master's Degree in Counseling with a concentration in Marriage and Family Therapy from Geneva College. I am a licensed professional counselor in Pennsylvania and also credentialed as a distance counselor. In conjunction with my clinical work, I administer assessments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI) Assessment and The Gottman Relationship Checkup, provide trainings and seminars on a variety of topics, and serve as an adjunct instructor at a local college.
