Introduction: RKM Training is about keeping it real. We don't cut corners, or blow smoke or make unrealistic promises. Fitness is a lifestyle and it does take work, but just because it's hard doesn't mean it has to be complicated. We train at a fully equipped private personal training facility. You will have the entire facility to yourself, so no waiting on equipment or dealing with all the unpleasant aspects of gyms. We focus on functional strength: making your work and play easier, making you more resistant to injury and improving mobility and quality of life... all while burning fat to get you the lean, toned body you want. For those interested in self-defense... Our self defense program is REAL. No nonsense, no fluff, no ceremony and no theory. It has been proven in hundreds of real world violent encounters. We also can seamlessly blend our fitness and self defense training. Let's get to work. I enjoy meeting new people and solving new problems. My favorite part about personal training is when a novice or beginner comes to me with a story about having to move something or do something physical and they felt strong, powerful and resistant to injury. I love when they tell me things like how their spouse suddenly can't keep their hands off of them! I like the fact that I can make gold standard personal training available to beginners, non-athletes and "regular people." I work independently, so I can set the rates (low) and I can do the scheduling (flexible).

I started going to Mike with the intention of losing and toning my weight, gaining self confidence, and learning self defense. I must say going to Mike has been the best decision. Mike is focused on helping me achieve my goals and makes every session challenging and extremely enjoyable. Mike helped me set goals, and we started out once per week with an exercise routine that he planned for my specific goals. On my first session, I learned footwork, 3 different block techniques, 2 punches, and a take down move. I like how Mike is patient and ensures the basic techniques is correct before moving to the next step. Since I've been working out with Mike, I've seen major improvements in my ability to complete more exercises and generally push myself harder throughout each session. Every session is rewarding! Mike is extremely accommodating, encouraging and motivating. He genuinely cares about the clients results. I would strongly recommend him to anyone!

Mike is a great trainer & taught me a lot of self defensive moves, I wanted to learn how to better protect myself without using a weapon. Mike broke every mechanic down & transformed my body and attitude towards self defense for the good! I would recommend him to anyone looking to defend themselves. I'm a full time student and I work part time but I worked out with Mike for about 12 sessions & I still naturally remember most of the moves. I now can protect myself correctly. Most people think they can protect themselves until put into a situation when your life is in jeopardy. Learning from Mike taught me what not to do and what to do during those situations!

Been training less than a month. Already feeling results! I'm consistently surprised at how much thought goes into my personal workouts. Great motivational training sessions that leaving you feeling great about yourself and wanting more!
