FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing is usually based on full day and half day rates, plus the cost of any incidentals such as travel, rentals, hired models or assistants. Discounts are only offered for subscription/bulk production services such as a 6-month social media subscription or monthly retainer.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Typically the first thing we do is have a consultation call or meeting with a customer to clarify the details of the shoot so that all parties are on the same page. Once the request is understood we propose the budget required to reach the end goal and negotiate around that to meet the client's request. Sometimes a client's dream is too ambitious for the budget, and sometimes it is a far simpler product that they need after all. Usually, after this point, we request a deposit depending on the scope of the project to begin. After the goal and the budget are set we begin a scripting/planning process and communicate with the client about all the moving parts that need to be put in place such as hiring talent/models, location scouting, equipment rentals, travel, location/model release forms, liability insurance, etc. We like to create a script along with a timeline so that expectations are understood. Once a plan is finalized the next step is to execute, edit, and deliver. We communicate with the client throughout the entire process, sharing screenshots and drafts as necessary via online platforms such as Vimeo or DropBox. After revisions are complete the final product is delivered electronically to be shared across social media and broadcast networks.
