- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A 50% retainer is required for photography sessions, if the session is greater than 1 week out. If the session is less than 1 week away, the full amount will be due at booking (excluding weddings), required of all sessions, is nonrefundable. The remaining fee (-retainer already paid) for the session is due 1 business day before the shoot date. Rain dates for outdoor sessions will be rescheduled at the convenience of the client & photographer. Clients are permitted one rescheduled session if rescheduling request is made at least 48 hours before the session. After one permitted rescheduling, any further rescheduling will require an additional booking fee of $50 to hold your spot. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Once a date and time is agreed upon, I will send a confirmation email. I will also send an email with the retainer invoice and questionnaire to get to know each customer better. That was I can make the experience as enjoyable and stress free as possible.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started taking photos when my oldest son started playing football. I used it as a distraction for being that mom that was always yelling! 😊
