FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Service calls the first hour is 80$ and 50$ each hour after. I am willing to price out a job after looking at it or having enough details of the work. I understand if a job takes a couple days the customer would like to know a head of time what they are looking at instead of paying time and materials.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to talk with the customer before I get there to know exactly what I'm looking at so I am sure to bring the right tools. Not able to carry all of them all the time. If it's a bigger project I prefer to meet up and take a look at the project a head of time to iron out any details and figure out how many workers I need and materials etc.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Starting in high school I took two shop classes my Junior and Senior each and had one my freshman and one my sophomore year as well. I knew I like working with my hands and Building Things So I learned everything from metalwork, woodwork, welding, and various hand and power tools. I attended St. Charles County Community College as a dual enrollment my senior year of high school. Then I went to school at Devry Institute in Kansas City MO. After moving to California over eleven years ago I studied at Globe Institute of music production and recording engineering. The school shut down before my program was complete. I have several years experience in shop work and many years out in the field. I learned from some of the industries best from Missouri, South Carolina, Florida, and California.
