- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
We charge a mobile service fee depending on distance traveled and a $15 per signature in the notarial journal.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Law offices, banks, medical facilities, retirement residences, Power of Attorney, living wills, parental consent forms, DMV forms, Loan Signings, Winery Compliance and most general Notary work.
- What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?
Know what the document(s) are that you need notarized. You must present a valid and current ID such as a Drivers License or Passport with a photo and physical description. Know if your notarization requires witnesses and if so, how many. I cannot suggest or give any legal advice about documents needing to be notarized. My job is only to verify who the signer is and witness their signature(s) and sometimes issue an oath that what they are signing is true and deter fraud.
