What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Whether it be from a vendor website like thumbtack, or a direct inquiry by phone or email, we take time to ensure any bride who contacts us gets exactly what they envision for their special day.
To do this, we correspond with you to gain some initial insight as to what your needs and visions are for your special day. We then schedule a convenient time for a consultation with our wedding coordinator, either over the phone or in-store. This complimentary 30-minute consultation is where the bulk of the details and pricing is discussed and written up into a proposal. After a copy of the proposal is emailed to you, you are able to contact us at any time to make changes, ask questions, and anything else you may need.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Our floral designers have over 30 years of experience in their field. Our coordinator will personally work with you to ensure that the details you envision for your wedding are fulfilled.

How did you get started doing this type of work?
Owner Jennifer Cummings has always had a passion for all things living, especially plants and flowers. She founded Christie's Flowers & Gifts in order to share her love and knowledge of floral art and design with the world. Christie's provide Naples and surrounding areas with floral arrangements for any occasion.
Jennifer is also a designer and the primary wedding coordinator. With help from her friendly staff, she goes above and beyond to make sure that all your visions for your special day come true, from the smallest basket of flower girl petals to the most extravagant arch decor.
What types of customers have you worked with?
We work with a variety of individuals and groups - brides and their families, the couple-to-be, country clubs, hotels, and wedding/event planners.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look through the portfolios and past work of the florist, not just their pricing. You wouldn't want to plan out everything you desire with a florist, just to have them decorate your wedding with low-quality flowers that do not stand up to the beauty and significance of the occasion.
We also recommend being open to suggestions. Sometimes availability of certain flowers or a budget issue become obstacles to obtaining certain items for your wedding. In cases such as these, experienced florists usually have great ideas on how to get similar looks using alternatives.
