FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
For music lessons, I charge $35 for a 30 minute lesson, and $45 for an hour lesson. I take $10 off the total price when a block of 4 lessons are booked at once. If multiple family members in the same household take lessons in a block of time, I take an additional $15 off of every 4 lessons booked. For lessons, payment for your first lesson is due through PayPal at no later than 24 hours prior to your lesson. Additional payment arrangements can be made at the first lesson. For music performances, prices depend on the duration and type of event. I can usually work within many different budgets, so please let me know what you have in mind!
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Communication is key across the board for any of the services I offer. If I am performing music for your event or wedding, I work with you to determine the style of your event as well as the mood you are trying to set, and can be as involved as you want me to be- either helping to plan the music, or just singing your pre-selected pieces. For music lessons, I like to speak with the student before we meet to determine what their goals are and what kind of time commitment they would like to put in. In a first lesson or consultation, we run through exercise to see where you are vocally and what your range is, and come up with a game plan for lessons to help you achieve your goals.
