Introduction: At Elevated Music you will learn fundamental techniques, music theory and your favorite songs. However, it doesn’t stop there. At Elevate Music we understand that learning about music is not just about learning your instrument, but also building and fostering your creativity. This is why we offer songwriting, music production, and live looping as part of our lessons. We make sure every student can explore who they are musically and learn to fully express themselves creatively. I love sharing my passion for music and creation. I have always made things. It started with legos and now it is songs and productions. I want to teach students to use music as a tool to find their own voice and share their music with the world no matter what level they may be at.

I took weekly private banjo lessons from Wilson for 2+ years. He was a terrific teacher. He was great at balancing theory with working on songs. Great at picking out music at my level that I would learn from and enjoy. And was always responsive to what I was most interested in learning. He even got me to perform in public by playing with me at an open mic night! I would highly recommend him.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, I charge $50/hour for lessons. If you would like me to travel to your home then I will add the cost of gas/mile and a fee depending on drive time since I will not be able to schedule other lessons during that time.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I begin by getting to know the students goals and then use my experience to guide them through the right repertoire and lesson plan.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a BA in Music with an emphasis in World Music from the University of Colorado at Boulder.
