About this pro
My background is in studio art and history. I have worked in the theatre, at scenic studios, graphic design, and event production. Jack of all trades, master of detail, I am very creative and can help you realize what you have in your head. I have always loved making new things and making old things look better. I work quickly, and precisely. I love creating things and transforming houses. In my favorite projects, I get to revive the historicism of houses while using the residents' memories and experiences for design inspiration. This method creates personalized environments with accommodation for modern living.
Customers rated this pro highly for work quality, professionalism, and responsiveness.

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? My pricing commensurates with the job. I generally send over a quote, and establish a "not to exceed" rate once I better understand the project. Sometimes there are aspects to the job discovered later that decrease or increase the scope of the work.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I like to talk with clients and get to know what they like, and what the envision. We gather the needed materials and get to work! My clients frequently hire me again.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?In my academic work I study historic buildings and objects, including how things are and were made. My undergraduate degree is in studio painting, and I have worked in galleries and museums installing art and painting many, many walls. My training also includes color theory, and decorative arts studies- so I can help you pick finishes and colors, or help you come up with ideas when you are stumped. I worked in theatre as a costume designer and also in a professional scene shop building massive fiberglass sculpture for amusement parks. In 2014 I flipped a 1957 ranch house in Austin, Texas for a profit of over $200,000. The conversion included skim coating all the walls, installing trim, completely rebuilding the small master bathroom, tile, and installing many custom elements like a private screened in porch.
