Introduction: My studio is literally full of color: a mustard yellow couch, bright blue walls, animated pictures hanging everywhere. My studio is also figuratively full of color: students at the piano, strumming guitars, writing songs, and singing for voice lessons. I love the colorful world of music. As a professional singer songwriter I spend my time traveling across the nation performing, then teaching in my studio in Nashville, TN. With 6 years of teaching under my belt, I have experience from 5 year olds to 75 year olds; piano, voice, songwriting, and guitar. Often, I incorporate songwriting with an instrument to encourage students to not only find their voices, but also enjoy practicing! Before Sara Beth, I had never played an instrument and had failed at all my attempts to do so. After meeting with her once a week I am now writing my own songs on the guitar and playing small shows around town :) she has taught me everything I know and in the most gracious way. She makes me believe in myself and my talents and has changed the limits I put on my musical abilities. I am so so grateful for her! I cannot describe the joy I have being able to turn my poems into songs and share them with people. I wouldn’t be able to do any of this without Sara Beth. The world should know what kind of mentor and teacher she is!! ❤️
