We described what we were looking for, and what we did not want to look at (which were modern developments). We did a few initial viewings to get a feel for what we liked and didn't like, and subsequent home viewings were right in our price and style target. In the end, we got just what we wanted - a unique home that looks like nobody else's home, and within walking distance to our small historic town. They are great at strategy and negotiation.
