- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
*** Lesson Details *** My teaching is based on my own personal, classical training from Europe and North America. Whether it's opera, oratorio, musical theater or pop-style singing that is desired, I believe that classical technique is an essential source of proper singing that can be used to train singers of all genres. Lessons are tailored to the student's individual goals and abilities. Music history and theory, as well as vocalization, posture, breathing, diction, tone production, and general technique are incorporated into each lesson. In addition, the students also participate in performance master classes and recitals, learning stage presence and concert etiquette.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Master's in Voice Performance degree from University of New Orleans and Bachelor of Science degree in Voice Performance from State Music Academy, Sofia, Bulgaria. In 2001, I toured with International European Opera Company which performed numerous times in Denmark, France, Italy and USA. I currently perform and teach in the New Orleans area and love to share my knowledge and experience with my students. There is so much more to performance then just beautiful vocalizing.....
