FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I try to have a sliding scale pricing model, so that i can offer my services more widely and to a greater population of people. Generally I charge between $50 and $80 dollars per hour. Our first session would be an hour and a half to include sometime to talk and get to know each other, and generally I ask for between $65 and $95 for that session.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually we will start with cup of tea and get to know each other a little bit, determine where main areas of focus are desired, what kinds of injuries, issues, or discomfort (physical or emotional) are present. We will discuss how to best work with these ares of focus in a way that feels comfortable and healing to the client. This is a good time for questions and discussion about Yoga, how it can help with physical or emotional pain, and how to work towards wellness in both areas.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am a graduate of Nosara Yoga Institutes 200 hour yoga teacher training. I completed this in 2010, and since then have continued to complete about 200 more hours in various somatic arenas, including Restorative Yoga, Prenatal Yoga, Anatomy, Therapeutic Yoga, and Advanced Teacher Training, among others. Currently I am engaged in an 800 hour Yoga Therapist Teacher Training program to further educate myself in using yoga as a therapeutic modality towards emotional and physical wellness.
