Marino Construction LLC
About this pro
We were trying to manage a condo kitchen remodel in Florida from Kentucky. Our first contractor totally messed up. We found Tom on Thumbtack and with a leap of faith hired him sight unseen. I wish we would have found him in the first place. The work was fantastic. He put in cabinets, back splash, painted, and some other 'handy-man things'. He went above and beyond with suggestions and attention to detail. We have found a most valuable asset, a contractor we can trust.May 3, 2018

Tom and his team completed our condo renovation which included updating 2 full bathrooms, installing laminate flooring and 2 sliding glass doors, and framing out our entryway. They did a fantastic job and Tom's pricing was super reasonable (especially in comparison to the other quotes we got.) I was living in the condo while the renovations were taking place and they were so nice and professional that I never felt weird or put out about having them in my house. Tom is the kind of guy that will go above and beyond to help you out and get the job done. We feel so lucky to have found him and will definitely be hiring him for our kitchen reno when it's time!Jan 11, 2017

Tom & Brian have helped us out tremendously with interior painting two of our homes at short notice. They are reasonable about their pricing, and have kept the schedules as promised. I would highly recommend hiring the Marino's :)Jan 13, 2017

- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? We believe that it is most fair to the home owner to treat each job individually and to consider all variables that could help determine the scope of work for the best possible outcome. The home owners comfort level and understanding of the work is important prior to starting any project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?I believe that whenever possible a face to face meeting is best or next best a telephone conversation. Following one of those, other details can be worked out via further telephone conversations or email. I like to see who I'm working for and I"m convinced that clients like the same in most instances.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I have extensive coating, painting and residential construction background, including condominiums and ocean front properties where the scope of work can be more intensive due to corrosion issues.
