I was dreading this move simply because of the stress of relocation. A friend of mine suggested that I hire Federal relocation services to make things go smoothly. I never hired a moving company before and didnt really know what to expect. But, their services were good enough for me to write this review. When I called them, they gave me a very reasonable quote. They sent over a crew on the moving day. The movers were all very young and strong. 2 of them were college kids working part-time and I was worried how professional they would be. But all four men were very skilled and experienced. They packed all my belongings with great care and precision. Efficiency was really their forte. I was glad to see how fast they were, which essentially saved me some money. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about them.

I have had bad experiences with so many companies. There was one company who completely destroyed my wifes 120 pieces set of china. Another company lost 3 of our boxes. I have come to expect very little from these companies but I still hire them because I have to move every year and I just dont have the time to do it on my own. A few months ago, after a friend suggested me, I hired Federal relocation services to move my belongings. I didnt know what to expect from them but they were definitely better than others in all areas. For example, their crew arrived 10 minutes earlier on the moving day. I have never had a crew arriving early in my 12 years of moving. The movers were capable enough to handle packing and loading my things properly. One complaint here was that they used a lot of packing materials. I understand its their way of being thorough, but I felt elated when they said most of it is free. The movers were very friendly and there was a good sync among them. Their foreman was a very experienced men and he directed the team very well. In the midst of selfish, unprofessional and inefficient moving companies, Federal relocation services was a breath of fresh air.

I was living in a 2-bedroom 4th floor walkup apartment. It was my first apartment and so rent was more important than a wide staircase. Most of my furniture was flat-packs assembled inside the apartment. Some of them were cheap IKEA stuffs. I was considerably worried about them when I hired Federal relocation services to move them. I expected most of the pieces not to survive the journey given the state they were in. I expected some of the pieces not to make out of my building given the 8 flights of stairs and a narrow stairway. The movers proved me wrong. They were so efficient that they finished packing in just one hour. Then they started moving the furniture downstairs. They had enough experience and skills to know how to approach the situation. They took such good care of my cheap and wobbly furniture. You wont believe when I say this but every piece of old, crappy furniture I own is now sitting pretty in my new apartment without a single scratch on them. These guys are just incredible!

I hired Federal relocation services for a move three weeks back. I was counting on their reputation in the market. When I called them, they seemed friendly and helpful enough. It was quite easy to get a quote and the numbers seemed quite reasonable. The movers arrived right on time and they were equipped with all the right tools and packing materials. They got to work immediately and packed up all my belongings in no time. It was great to see how efficient these guys were. They maneuvered through tricky doors and narrow hallways; it only showed their skills and experience. Nothing was damaged or broken or lost at the end of the move. Everything went very smoothly and the credit really goes to the movers.

I heard from a lot of friends that using a moving company to do your move was risky. Later I did my research online, so the reviews were warning me for scams and moving brokers. But after a good experience I had with this mover, I felt obligated to share it. If you need to move - use Federal relocation services. At first, I talked to their sales rep - a very honest and professional representative, I must say. He immediately met my necessities, going over every single detail from bottom to toe. Everything went well on the day of the move; the movers showed up on time and took care of all the furniture and appliances. Entire move was stored for 15 days in one of their storage facilities and delivered to me in perfect conditions.
