Rose is an amazing young lady, she is a good match with my middle school aged granddaughter. Offering her ability to break down math problems for a simpler understanding. She is outstanding and is modest in her own accomplishments.

FAQs

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

It is very important to not treat every tutoring session with the same "formula." Just as everyone learns differently, students also are unique in their motivation, interest, goals, time commitment, focus, frustration, energy, and desire to lead or be led. The first few sessions are critical in determining how to balance each of these needs and how to present information in a way that they will understand.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

I mainly work with high school and college students, as well as students young as 12 and adults preparing for the MCAT or GRE. I have experience helping struggling students who are not particularly interested in math and science, and can lead and encourage them appropriately. I also work with students who prefer to guide the session themselves, who bring specific questions and topics for each meeting.
