We rented a B&B for 8 old friends who hadn't seen each other in years and had Chef Melissa make us dinner for the evening. It was phenomenal! She was incredibly professional but also wonderfully friendly. She helped us figure out a menu, cooked, served, and cleaned up. She was patient with our restrictions (2 vegetarians and 1 with massive allergies), creative with her selection and wonderful with her communication. - What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?The cost for Private Chef services are $60-80 per hour, plus the cost of food. The charges include: Menu Planning, Food Shopping, Prep time, Cooking, Storing all food properly, and cleaning the kitchen.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?First, I like to find out what type of level of service they are looking for, what type of cuisines that interest them and cater to each clients specific expectations
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I graduated from the Natural Gourmet Institute in NYC in the fall of 2000. I have also just completed a Nursing course and plan to incorporate my knowledge of that field into helping people.
