- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices typically range from 20-30 per hour for writing work, making it usually 30-40 per piece (blog post or web page). 20-25 per hour or session is normal for tutoring. In all cases, if a unique need is demonstrated, such as a nonprofit organization requiring grant writing or a disadvantaged student requiring unique tutoring help, my prices are negotiable and can drop to meet your needs.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I'll communicate with you however you feel is best. If you're in city limits of New York, I can travel to you, or if you're farther out email or phone is better. After one or two exchanges, I'll confirm with you what you need me to achieve, and we'll get started right away––I offer a time estimate in the cases of writing projects, and I'll deliver before the deadline.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I've studied at top schools in New York and elsewhere, working with published and award-winning authors and garnering numerous awards for my writing. Multiple nonprofits have hired me as an intern, giving me a good deal of experience in grant-writing and nonprofit work as well. I can provide specifics about my education and work experience via message if you're interested. I've also worked in tutoring nonprofits focused on students who are struggling in school––meaning that even if your student is a handful to manage, I'll help them get focused!
