Introduction: I have taught both publicly and privately for 11 years in Europe and the United States. My current and past students are First Prize Winners of international flute competitions in Italy, Slovenia, Croatia, and Europe abroad. I was studying in Europe and I hold Master's Degrees in both Flute Performance and Music Education from the Academy of Music in Ljubljana, Slovenia. I teach all ages and music styles, from complete beginners to advanced players. I am also performing and recording artist playing in symphonic orchestras and bands across the globe. I am willing to travel and teach at your home. Playing and teaching flute is my biggest pleasure and fulfillment. I love to be in a process of student's musical growth and for me there is nothing more satisfying then seeing students gaining love and joy for music.

We met Tinka in 2009 when our daughter decided to play flute. It was a hard start, but Tinka as teacher was able to motivate and to encourage although Brina was the first generation of Tinka’s students. Brina completely trusted Tinka and followed her directions. After six years of hard work Brina won a golden award on National Temsing competition in 2016 with 98% points. Tinka’s way of teaching and her nice personality brought Brina to decision that she wants to follow music in her life. Tinka is a teacher that respect, encourage and likes students that she teaches. She is professional but also allows that students and their parents become her friends. We are very thankful for this experience. Unuk family

Miss Tinka is very experienced and she gave me a lot of new information about Technic and music in general. I didn't have a lot of confidence in myself and she was the one, who help me improve that. She is very professional and kind, so I definitely recommend her lessons.

Tinka is an amazing flutist and a wonderful teacher. She has obviously a lot of experience, since her teaching methods are very efficient. She's professional, knowledgeable and warm. What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
With beginners I start with breathing exercises, producing a tone, learning the right fingerings and then start to play simple pieces. With students who already have any experience with flute playing we continue their knowledge and expand their flute repertoire.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
- I have studied at the Music Academy in Slovenia (Europe). - Holding a Master's of Arts - Taking classes with world's most known flutist like M. M. Kofler, G. Pretto, L. Goodwin,... - Playing in symphonic orchestras and different kind of bands.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started to visit music school when I was 8 years old. I was studying flute in music schools and later at Music Academy for 15 years. Now I am an educator and performing artist for the past 11 years.
