- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have an hourly rate but am also happy to accommodate day or flat rate fees dependent on the scope of each project.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My process is generally to schedule a 1 hour consultation/ walk through to discuss the clients overall vision, priorities and timeline. At that time I take photographs and measure the spaces that need designing. I then send the client a proposal to include any questions I have after the initial meeting, along with a detailed contract to include inspirational images and or product, budget and realistic timeline for approval.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I worked for a high end custom furniture retailer that catered to New Yorks Top 50 Interior Designers & Architects which quickly exposed me to a different aspect of project management a very fast paced industry. I worked previously in the Fashion Industry as a Merchandiser so I have always been on the creative side professionally with management positions that required me to be on calendar & within budget.
